Talk on the Legacy of the Printing Press

Tim Honnor, who owned Piccolo Press in Nairn for 20 years is to give a talk at Nairn Book and Arts Festival on The Legacy of the Printing Press  — ‘The most import­ant inven­tion since the wheel’. He will speak about the inven­tion of print­ing, and show pic­tures and videos of a range of print­ing presses, includ­ing the unique Cossar Press that the Trust is trying to pre­serve as a per­man­ent work­ing exhibit, in asso­ci­ation with National Museums Scotland. As well as being one of our Trustees, Tim is editor of the British Printing Society Monthly Magazine.
