June 2010      Change of Trustees
At the end of 2009, Richard Honour stepped down as Trustee. The Trust is delighted that Bob Hodgson, Director of Graphic Enterprise Scotland (formerly the Scottish Print Employers Federation) has agreed to become a Trustee of of SPRAT. The current Trustees are: Patrick Mark (Chair), Campbell White (Hon Treasurer), H Bernulf Clegg, Professor Alistair McCleery, Scottish Centre for the Book, Edinburgh Napier University, Bob Hodgson, Director, Graphic Enterprise Scotland.

May 2010      Robert Smail's archive
The archives at the National Trust for Scotland's printing works in Innerleithen, Robert Smail's, give a unique insight into the operation of a small business in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Smail's are in the process of cataloguing and conserving this archive, and have begun put some of this archive online: the results can be found here Robert Smail's is open to the public until 31 October, Thursday until Monday Noon-5pm (Sunday 1-5pm).
